Graduate Research Assistant Computational Visualization Center
Shubham is a PhD student with a Research focus in building safe, efficient and robust learning agent following analysis by synthesis paradigm working closely with Oden Institute's CVC lab under Prof. Chandrajit Bajaj. Previously, Bhardwaj was a Research Scientist at Jio Platforms where he worked on multiple AI products spanning the domain of 3D Vision, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing which led to 2 patents. During this stint at Jio Platforms, Bhardwaj published his Master's thesis on improve the numerical stability of a spatio-temporal variational gaussian process by compressing the internal representation of the data distribution after which he recieved a PhD offer to join UT Austin. Bhardwaj's research interest include Computer Vision, 3D Graphics, Reinforcement Learning, Optimization and Bayesian Machine Learning.
